What it does

One composite score, not one fragile indicator.
A single range-detection measure is easy to fool. CCRD combines several independent ones into one regime read, so a trend-following setup and a mean-reversion setup can each wait for the conditions they actually need instead of firing into the wrong tape.

  • That combining measures automatically means a better signal — convergence is a filter, not a guarantee, and we'll say what the data shows once it's run
